Dear Hudson High School Families and Students,

It is a privilege and an honor to serve as the Principal of Hudson High School of Learning Technologies.

My journey in education is deeply personal. As an immigrant from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I am a proud product of the New York City Department of Education public school system—having attended P.S. 91, Mahalia Jackson School (I.S. 391) in Brooklyn, and Midwood High School in Brooklyn. My education continued within the City University of New York (CUNY) system, where I earned my degrees at Hunter College and Brooklyn College.

Because of the transformative opportunities public education provided me, I carry a deeply held belief near and dear to my heart: "To whom much is given, much is required."

As the Principal of Hudson High School, I am guided by my North Star: always doing right by our students. Every decision we make is centered on facilitating positive student outcomes, elevating academic rigor, and bolstering post-secondary readiness. My commitment is to ensure that our students graduate not only prepared to transition seamlessly into life after Hudson, but that they step into the world as respectful global citizens and critical thinkers.

Through collaborative leadership, strong partnerships, and high expectations, our community continues to move forward:

• Academic Growth & Rigor: We remain steadfastly committed to elevating academic expectations, demonstrated by the consistent growth in our students earning Advanced Regents Diplomas throughout my tenure as Principal.
• Innovative Opportunities: We continue to enrich learning through strategic community and academic partnerships, such as our robotics program with the Cornell STEM Center, our on-site UFT Teachers Center, and our designation as a United Community School.
• Continuous Leadership & Improvement: Drawing on insights from prestigious leadership programs—including the Gray Fellowship for Principal Excellence and the Cahn Fellowship for Distinguished Principals—I lead strategic, data-driven initiatives to support our teachers and improve outcomes for every child.

Education is a collective journey. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with our educators, staff, parents, and community partners as we continue to empower our young people to reach their highest potential.
